Patrick Bianchi and Victor Berriel, Owners of VP Development GroupWe are business partners in VP Development Enterprises, LLC, based in Downtown Clermont. Although we're in the real estate business, we always had a dream to expand our commercial development portfolio, but we needed a strategic partner to share our vision. After meeting with Mike Bucher at USB and discussing our goals, we knew that this was the bank we wanted to call home and develop a meaningful business relationship with.
USB believed in our vision, and they've been there for us from the very start as we expand and grow. When Mike met us, he believed in us and that's when we purchased our first commercial property with the help of USB's Commercial Lending department. Since then, we have grown our portfolio to include properties in the greater Orlando area and in Downtown Clermont, including the Montrose Street Market, which is one of our passion projects.
It was a true challenge to open the Montrose Street Market in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, but our vendors believed in us and in the vision that we had for Downtown. We have seen so much activity and growth since opening, and we really appreciate all of our vendors and their passion. This is one of the reasons that we love what we do, we get to meet new people and create new concepts that improve our downtown.
We love creating spaces where people can live, work, and play, while bringing new life to our downtown area. It really is a great location and a great community of people. We're local and we love seeing people enjoy the new entertainment and amenities that have come to the city.
Our motto has always been to invest in what we believe in and Downtown Clermont and projects like the Montrose Street Market give us the opportunity to do just that. We love Clermont, this is where we are based as a business, and it is home. We've seen other cities grow and succeed, and we see no reason why Clermont can't have the same growth and success with the right private partnerships, and we believe that it's very special to be a part of that.
